Dear Customer,
We would like to begin by thanking you for inquiring about the Angus Barn banquet facilities. The Angus Barn is a fine dining restaurant with a casual atmosphere. Whether a customer is celebrating a birthday, retirement, a rehearsal dinner or an important business dinner, our goal is to make your event one that will be long remembered.

The Angus Barn is open every day except for New Year’s Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The Wild Turkey Lounge opens daily at 4:00 p.m. and the restaurant serves from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturdays and 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Sundays. Reservations are not required, but are recommended. Banquet reservations are not taken on Saturdays or special occasions like Valentine’s Day, graduation weekends, Mother’s Day, etc.

Within our restaurant we have private rooms that are available for all occasions. Private rooms are available from 15 to 100 guests every night of the week except Saturdays and special occasion nights. We can also accommodate groups of 220 or less on certain days of the week. Please call for availability. Luncheons of 25 or more are available on any day of the week. These dinners can be as casual or as formal as you like and we offer “ theme parties” for any special events you need to plan. General, party, bar and menu information follow below.

If you are seeking a more formal, elegant setting, we serve parties of 12-34 in our wine cellar. The wine cellar has a six course French menu and includes five different wines. Please check the wine cellar menu, or call or e-mail Destry Swaim at winecellar@angusbarn.com.

General Private Party Information

Our private rooms seat a minimum of 20 guests and a maximum of 100 guests. We do offer one room that will accommodate over 100 and up to 220 guests. This room is only available certain days of the week. Please call for availability.

Our private rooms are adjacent to one another with moveable walls between the rooms. You may be placed next to a party that has a speaker or a scheduled program.

Your party will receive our famous Angus Barn cheese, crackers, and relishes compliments of the Angus Barn. If a cocktail time is scheduled, they will be placed on a separate table as hors d’oeuvres. If no social is planned, they will be placed directly on your dining table. We also have fabulous baby back ribs ( our baby back ribs are small, tender, juicy ribs- our trademark and customer’s favorite), jumbo shrimp cocktail, North Carolina crabcakes and other Angus Barn signature appetizers available at regular menu prices.

Private parties are decorated in the traditional Angus Barn decor of blue and white check tablecloths, red napkins and lanterns. Special decorations, which include special linens, special napkin folds, and candles are available upon request. There is an additional charge for these decorations depending on the size of the room. Your party can be as formal or as informal as you would like.

We can arrange to have a bartender directly in your private room: however, a bartender is required for parties of 25 or more. There are no self-service alcohol bars available.

We have a $75.00 per person food and beverage minimum in our private rooms. This price is excluding tax and gratuity. If you do not wish to spend the minimum of $75.00 per person, you may opt to pay a room charge.

Payments can be made by cash or charge. (American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa, or Diners’ Club). We do not accept personal checks. We automatically add 20% gratuity to all private parties. We do require all private parties be one check.

48 hours before your scheduled party, we do require a final attendance count. You will be charged $75.00 plus tax and gratuity per no show, and this is non refundable. If we do not receive your final count within 48 hours, we will plan for the highest guest count that you originally booked. We cannot seat for more than the final count or for more than the room will allow. EXAMPLE: You originally booked a party of 50-60, your final count will be 60.

BAR INFORMATION FOR PRIVATE PARTIES


Any party of 25 or more must have a bartender if any alcohol other than wine is to be served. There is no charge for the first hour and a $15.00 fee per bartender for each additional hour. Parties under 25 may request a bartender for a fee of $35.00 for the first hour and $15.00 for each additional hour.

The set-up of your bar is up to you. You may customize with house brands, premium brands or limit to beer and wine only.
