The staves for this bourbon were carefully selected by Angus Barn sommeliers at the Star Hill Farm's new lakeside open-air tasting room, surrounded by the sights, smells and sounds of this revered property. After 9 weeks maturing in the beautiful limestone caverns of the distillery, the barrel has finally made it home to Raleigh, ready to be enjoyed! Bright notes of praline and butterscotch balance aromas of old wood on the nose, followed by a rich mid-palate of French toast and vanilla custard. AB No. 4 is completed with a lengthy finish marrying flavors of toasted walnuts with hints of leather, banana, and campfire-roasted s'mores.
Be among the first to taste Angus Barn No. 4 and enjoy a gourmet 5 course bourbon paired dinner inspired by the legendary Maker’s Mark®.
